Upstate K-9 featured in Spencerport Central School District Red Ribbon Week December 2008:
"Cosgrove capped off Red Ribbon week on Friday with a special assembly, which included a sobering, 4-minute film on the dangers of drug and alcohol use, a demonstration on narcotic scent detection by K-9's trained by Dan Mesiti and Greg Whelehan, a certified master K-9 trainer from Upstate K-9, and a presentation of $1,500 check to Hunter's Hope, which students raised last week. For raising this dollar amount, Dean of Students Bill Jacoutot agreed to a pie-in-the face. Many thanks to the Spencerport counselors, Upstate K-9, and all those who helped to organize this weeklong event."
